There are two Kamboj brothers from Muktsar Sahab who are serving the nation by part of armed forces. Sohajveer Singh Thind is a Major in the Indian Army whereas his brother, Jaspreet Singh Thind is a Captain in the Indian Navy. They are grandsons of Ch. Daulat Ram Singh Kamboj, Kanugo and beloved Sons of Sardaarni Kulwant Kaur and Sardar Surinder Singh Thind, Patwari from Muktsar Sahab.
Both Thind brothers are graduated from the Sainik School Kapurthala with distinction and were Selected in Army and Navy, respectively. Both of brothers are role models and inspirations for youngsters.
