She has received this award from Honourable Chief Minister of Haryana Mr. Manohar Lal Khattar at Haryana Sahitya Sangam and Haryana Punjabi Sahitya Academy in Panchkula on 16-March-2017. She was receiving the award along with her father S. Kartar Singh Handa.
